DGC - Don't Get Caught

DON'T GET CAUGHT was created in 2018 by Trixie, a California native living in New York, who believes in creating ethically made, versatile clothing that empowers the person wearing DGC. Trixie does all of the graphics herself and loves referencing and reclaiming vintage images of women created for the male gaze by drawing from the female perspective. She is inspired by Japanese culture and arts built on repair like kintsugi and shashiko, as well as other Asian cultures including her own Filipino heritage. 

All pieces are made from reclaimed, imperfect tees, Trixie sources directly and individually. They're sewn in a small, 8-person-run business in Los Angeles where workers are paid fair wages. All cutting scraps are recycled and never thrown away.
